Among them, white-feather broilers occupy most of the market, and yellow-feather broilers are preparing to open a new situation. He mentioned that the future trend of yellow-feathered broilers is cold fresh, not live birds.

In order to promote the breeding and improvement of "Guangming No. 2" white feather broiler, Beijing Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Research of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Huazhi Biological jointly established a white feather broiler research Center, which released the world's first intelligent blood analyzer for poultry disease resistance breeding in 2024, marking a breakthrough in the field of poultry disease resistance breeding intelligent equipment for phenotype identification. It provides an efficient, convenient and accurate intelligent data tool for poultry disease resistance breeding.
Through advanced technologies such as gene editing and molecular breeding, scientists can more accurately discover and breed good breeds to improve the growth performance and meat quality of broilers. The application of these technologies has not only accelerated the process of localization of broiler breeds, but also injected new vitality into the sustainable development of China's agriculture.
Good seeds, good planting and breeding methods can produce good results. "Good seed, good method", in the introduction, cultivation and optimization of plant and animal varieties, Wang Zhaohui, vice president of Huazhi Biology, summed up with these four words.
